Family Camps
Join a Family Camp at Camp Holiday Trails!
Family Camps at Camp Holiday Trails (CHT) offer families the opportunity to connect, create lasting memories and experience the joy of Camp in a welcoming, inclusive environment. Designed for families of children and teens, ages 5 years or older. We focus on youth with medical needs or disabilities, and their siblings. These weekend and multi-day programs combine the fun of traditional summer camp with the comfort of experiencing it together.
Families have the opportunity to try out traditional CHT activities such as archery and slingshot, fishing, the challenge course and more! Additionally we set aside time for parents & caregivers to connect while youth are engaged in developmentally appropriate community building led by our trained CHT staff.
Whether it’s your first visit or a cherished annual tradition, Family Camp is an opportunity to celebrate adventure, connection, and “CHT Camp Magic” as a family. To find out more check out our upcoming Family Camps below or email our Director of Programs, Caitlin Carroll, MSW at Caitlin@campholidaytrails.
Family Camps are offered in the Spring and Fall only since CHT does have day and overnight programming in the summer. Find out more about our Summer Camps.

Our October 17th CHT T1D Family Camp is full. We encourage families with a child with T1D to register for our Mixed Diagnoses Family Camp.
CHT also offers support groups! CHT Community Groups create a place where families navigating childhood chronic or complex medical conditions can feel understood, supported, and connected year-round. CHT Community Groups meet both virtually and in person at Camp. Learn more about CHT Community Groups by clicking the link below.
It was fun to experience some of the activities my child participates in during Summer Camp. We especially enjoyed ziplining together and making jewelry.

We had a great time fishing, and each of us caught a fish for the first time! The educational talk was also helpful in learning more about managing life with sickle cell.

We had a great time playing field games and tie-dying together at Food Allergy Family Camp.
