Tina LaRoche has been Executive Director of CHT since 2004. Tina was born in CT and moved to Virginia after many years with the YMCA in Los Angeles. Finding Camp Holiday Trails was a union of her belief in the impact of nonprofits in our communities and the joy of camp life. Tina enjoys hiking, reading, retro 80s latch hook, and board games with her family. Fun fact: Tina paid for college by working as a birthday clown!

Caitlin is originally from Florida but has swapped the beaches for the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge. She graduated in 2015 with her master's in clinical social work from Florida State University! Before CHT, Caitlin worked as a social worker in multiple areas, primarily focusing on children and adolescents. She is thrilled to be able to combine both her professional skills and her love of camp at CHT. When not strolling around Camp, Caitlin can be found rock climbing, playing one of her many instruments, or traveling wherever an adventure leads.

Angelica joined the Camp Family in the Summer of 2021. She has worked with non-profits for almost a decade raising funds for children and teens with medical needs and is excited to share camp throughout the Mid-Atlantic region.

Taryn moved from Germantown, Tennesseein 2022 to join our team! She has spent 5 summers working at both day and overnight camps and is excited to grow her experience in the camp world. In her free time, she can be found bouldering, listening to live music, and taking weekend road trips with her dog, Mable. The two have traveled to 15 states together and are excited to land at Camp Holiday Trails for their next adventure.⁠

Abby joined the CHT Family Summer 2023. Originally from the Catskill Mountains of New York, Abby now calls the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains home. With a passion for communication and a bachelor’s degree in mass communication, a master's in public administration, and a graduate certificate in nonprofit management—Abby brings valuable expertise to our team. When she's not working, Abby loves hiking, kayaking, and exploring nature with her pups, Saint and Skye.

Jimmy joined the Camp Family in 2021 but has been in Charlottesville for over 30 years. He has 20 years of experience in land management and maintenance. He enjoys spending his free time with his three kids, smoking meats, baking, and listening to music. His favorite place in the world is next to a fire with a clear, star-filled sky.

Jen joined the CHT staff in November of 2022. She grew up in Northern Virginia and received her BFA in Technical Theatre from Longwood University. Fun Fact: Jen's love for summer camp started as a Girl Scout. She was an active member for several years and earned the Girl Scouts Gold Award. She enjoys reading, cross stitching, traveling to Ecuador, and a good street fair in her spare time.

Dr. Ina is a board-certified Pediatrician and Pediatric Infection Disease subspecialist. Ina became our Medical Director in 2019. She got involved with CHT through her son who worked as a Counselor.
