Dear Camp Family,

At the beginning of the year, we announced that we would be piloting three new programs in lieu of our traditional overnight camp. While we’ve worked hard to develop programs that will bring camp to our campers with Pop-Ups and Online Camp, we had hoped to return a few campers to Holiday Trails Lane with Day Camp. 

Sadly, we have had to cancel Day Camp due to staffing shortages. Our number one focus is the safety of our campers and we rely on our counselors to provide a ratio that ensures each child receives attention and care during their summer experience. 

It is disappointing to know that we won’t have campers singing about having a pineapple head at Flagpole, but we intend to spread camp magic and joy through our other programs. CHT, after all, is not a place but a community. We cannot thank you all enough for your support and enthusiasm for our summer of pilot programs.

We hope to see you all at Holiday Trails Lane in 2022. Until then, we’re sending you a wishboat full of camp magic.
