Over 60 medical volunteers come together at CHT so that our amazing kids can have a fun and safe experience each summer. A keystone in our medical team is the medical students and residents who spend an elective rotation on staff. Many med students decide on pediatric specialties and family medicine while at camp, and for those headed towards research, we hope finding a cure for cystic fibrosis, epilepsy, sickle cell, or any one of a number of diagnoses is in their future. Our Med Team has the opportunity to work with diverse pediatric diagnoses in an active v. acute setting. We also have dedicated mental health professionals and practitioners volunteer to support our campers and staff. Perks include housing in our Med Lodges, delicious Camp food, Camp T-Shirts, and the chance to spend time in a beautiful outdoor environment with some pretty cool kids.
