Volunteers are the backbone of our program. We couldn’t do what we do without YOU! The purpose of the Summer Program at Camp Holiday Trails is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children and teens with medical needs are empowered to thrive. When you volunteer with us, you help to make that experience possible! *Day Volunteers are required to be at least 15 years of age or older in order to work with our Campers.
One important activity that depends on Day Volunteers is the Horse Program. The Horse Program at Camp Holiday Trails provides a safe and nurturing environment where campers can spend time with the horses, learn about their care, and enjoy riding in the ring or on the trail, and in so doing, experience the physical, social, and emotional benefits from interacting with our volunteers and our special Equine Partners.
